Controlled warmth at 40–42°C opens pathways in the skin that are normally closed. This increases product absorption, stimulates blood flow, and activates heat shock proteins that support cellular repair.
How it works
At 40–42°C — slightly above core body temperature — the skin undergoes a controlled thermal response. Blood vessels dilate, increasing microcirculation and delivering more oxygen and nutrients to the dermis. The intercellular lipid matrix in the stratum corneum becomes more fluid, temporarily increasing skin permeability. This allows active ingredients (hyaluronic acid, peptides, vitamin C) to penetrate deeper and more efficiently than at room temperature. Simultaneously, mild heat stress activates heat shock proteins (HSP70, HSP90), which function as molecular chaperones — refolding damaged proteins and protecting cells from oxidative stress.
